Hi my name is Kenny and it's great to meet you! I am a Scottish photographer and mentor. I started my incredible journey in photography in 1985 and I've been fortunate to have received multiple Kodak Gold Awards, served as a Kodak Masterclass Lecturer, and later I chaired the European Kodak Gold Awards Judging panel. As well as photographing over 20,000 families in my long career, I have also delivered many hundreds of workshops and seminars across the world, that have empowered and educated fellow professionals on lighting and the business of photography.

In 1996 I made a huge decision to shift my focus 100% to portraiture. With the guidance of a world-class mentor we developed new routes to market and by 2005 I build Scotland’s first studio to achieve a £1.5 million annual turnover on family portraiture.

From high volume monsters to unique boutique studios and even a luxury home portrait operation, I have operated at every scale of the portrait business. In 1997 I was one of the earliest adopters of digital photography in Europe with Phase One, investing heavily to create Europe's first fully digital portrait studio!

Teaching has taken me to over 16 countries as an educator, but my greatest passion lies in mentoring.
